WHAT IS THE ASSESSMENT LIKE?
The assessment delivers a series of “brain games” and gamification tools in which students engage in the exercises. The most common reaction is that the assessment is surprisingly fun. It is very difficult to choose answers that fool the assessment. The traditional and older science approach has sentences to which you “strongly agree”, “somewhat agree”, etc. Boring…
HOW MANY "STRONG FIT" CAREER SUGGESTIONS DO CLIENTS RECEIVE?
The average is 12-14. There are always surprises and careers that the client has never thought or heard of.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE ASSESSMENT?
The actual time is 90 minutes. However, we recommend that you do it in two sessions and take breaks between session segments totaling another 15-30 minutes.
HOW QUICKLY DO I GET MY RESULTS?
You receive your confidential results within one business day. Your Career Coach will get them as well in order to prepare for your first session.
HOW DO I GET SPECIFIC COLLEGE MAJOR OR PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ADVICE NEEDED FOR IDEAL CAREER PREPARATION?
The college and university database reveals what colleges or universities have the majors that best prepare for the ideal or a related career. This feature saves enormous amounts of time.
WHAT ROLE CAN THE PARENT(S) OR SPOUSE PLAY IN THE TWO COACHING SESSIONS?
The parent(s) and or spouse are invited to both sessions, but the second session is the more important one to attend. One of the benefits of the assessment is that both the parent(s) or spouse and our client will learn about hidden aptitudes and understand the client better.
WHY DO YOU FOCUS SO MUCH ON APTITUDES?
The right way to pick a career is to understand your aptitudes (see above), let the technology match you with the occupations that need and use your aptitudes, evaluate your interest in the career suggestions, and then pick the best career for you. Leaning primarily on interests will lead the client in the wrong direction.
WHY DO THE ASSESSMENT DEBRIEFING SESSIONS HAVE A CHRISTIAN OVERLAY TO THEM?
The Bible has a lot to say about “work”, especially since there was work in Genesis 2 before sin entered the world in Genesis 3. Proverbs and many other scriptures address God’s will for us in work and what role work plays in our lives.
